On Wednesday, December 6, 2023, Almanustra actively participated in the Discussion on Establishing a Sustainable Fisheries Management Committee. This activity engaged units within the scope of government institutions in North Sulawesi, academics, partner NGOs, business entities, and practitioners. The event was conducted in a hybrid format (online and onsite).

The objective of this activity was to support effective fisheries management at the regional level, specifically in North Sulawesi, in alignment with central-level policies. Consequently, the deliberations resulted in the establishment of a Sustainable Fisheries Management Committee institutionally comprised of representatives from the North Sulawesi Provincial Government, academics, partner NGOs, business practitioners, professionals, and other relevant stakeholders associated with the management of sustainable fisheries.
